Do you want to start using social media to connect with people about your product but don't know what to say?

Here I share with you a method that works scarily well irrespective of what you are selling.

The best way to look at social media is to pretend you are at a cocktail party or networking event.

What would your approach be?

Would you charge over to groups of people and start talking about your product and why it is so great?

Or interrupt the guest to tell them about your website and how they should buy now?

....Well, I hope you wouldn't.

As firstly you don't even know if they have any interest, need or desire for what you have.

And secondly it's annoying and usually just raises the people listening resistance even if they do have a need.

Your goal should always be to say just enough to raise curiosity to see if they're open to hearing more.

These exact phrase have worked well for myself & clients:

"Hey I help small biz owners get leads if you want I would be happy to show you some cool vids? If not its cool"
"Hey I am working on this cool biz where you can build in your own time are you open to looking at it? If not cool"
"Hey I created a cool jazz mix, can send you a sample if it's your thing. If not cool"

Give them the option then give them an out

Give them the option then give them an out. By doing this you spend less time with people who will never buy, more time with those that may buy and pissing off way fewer people.

Whether you doing this online and offline. Remember..... you need to ask permission before you get a commission.
