Only 2 Ways To Get Unlimited Prospects

Secret to success

It is simple to succeed in Network Marketing.

The more eye balls you get on your presentation the more reps you sponsor into your business.

Simple.

BUT...

If you are anything like me when I first started, you would have looked at people you currently know and predict your success based on who you thought would join your business.

Sound familiar?

When I first started I wrote down a list of about 40 people who I thought would definitely join and made my decision to join based on that.

None of them joined.

I was 24 and the people I surrounded myself with were either broke or weren't interested in entrepreneurship.

I quickly burnt through my list of friends and family and had made little traction in my business.

I believed the people who become top earners knew massive amounts of people who were all open/interested in an opportunity.

Top earner insight

This myth was quickly dispelled when I started reaching out to top earners across multiple companies.

Who told all revealed that majority of people they sponsored into their business, they DID NOT know before they started.

These top earners all spoke about the importance of presenting as much as possible and what they did to ALWAYS have prospects to present to.

Which can be summarised into the following two approaches;

1. Prospecting

2. Marketing

Prospecting

Prospecting is what you would be most familiar with and probably have done.

It requires you to reach out to people individually with the goal of presenting your business or product to them.

Simple enough BUT..

To constantly have new people to present to you need to do the following.

Create an active candidate/prospect list and add two new people to it EVERY single day.

Let me break it down

Write the name down of every single person you have ever met ever! 

NOT people who you think would be open to your opportunity or product but everyone and anyone who have never come across. Download the Ultimate memory Jogger to help

Active

Add at least 2 new names to this list daily, this is what makes it an ACTIVE list.

For this to work you need to make a conscious effort to network on purpose, collect friends and build new relationships. I go into the mechanics of how to do this here.

As you will now be meeting people on a daily basis and growing new relationships all the time.

You will never run out of people to speak to in your business.

Adding 2 people to your active list will give you the opportunity to present to 730 new people every year.

Warning don't pitch them straight away, build the relationship and wait for the opportunity to intro your business or product presents itself.

Sow the seeds.

The pros of this approach is it is simple to do and you will see instant results the big negative though is it is not leverageable.

Marketing

Marketing has gained traction in the last few years.

This is the method I use and recommend (when done correctly)

Marketing is passive, it involves putting out material such as a bus ad, FB post or blog like this with the hope that an un-named individual responds or reacts to.

The key advantage with marketing vs prospecting is leverage.

Leverage

Marketing the right way. You create content once, which brings you leads and sales multiple times, months and even years after you initially done the work.

Marketing gives you more freedom in your business and when done correctly qualified prospects will reach out to you to find out what you have to offer.

Hows that for a change?

In my opinion, 99.9% of people do marketing completely wrong, we all know those people who post “join me” “shop here" “buy from me’ links all over Facebook.

​Attraction Marketing

‘Education marketing' to build trust and rapport with strangers on the internet is an effective form of marketing.

Rather than a sells pitch you present your prospect information.

Let me explain;

The only 2 reason anyone uses the internet is:

- To be entertained

Or

- Looking for information

Therefore if you want to attract prospects to you, you need to do one of these two things.

Think back..

When you were first approached about your business you are now in.

You went on the internet to look for more information about it.

At that point, you would have been a very targeted prospect as you were open to finding more about the opportunity, product or comp plan.

​Unlimited hot prospects 

With this logic, the hottest type of prospect for you to speak to would be the person actively looking for information on your product or opportunity.
